Styled Winter Shoot at the Old Vicarage

It’s 2025! To kick off the new year, make-up artist extraordinaire Michelle and her fabulous team (Team G that is!) had organised a styled shoot for us to let off steam and have a bit of a muckabout. Good for the creative juices, always great fun and takes our minds off the dingy ol’ post-Chrizzo period when everyone’s a bit glum.

We had a different venue lined up but as is sometimes the way, renovations were over-running so we de-camped to the lovely Old Vicarage near Bridgnorth. They’d stepped up and offered our little shoot a home. Blinkin’ heroes.

Michelle gathered some of her previous brides, Linda and Aimee who wore their own wedding dresses. We added Team G member and daughter of Michelle, Lauren, friends Kyle and Lauren and my own daughter Poppy ‘cos she got a three piece suit for Christmas and needed an excuse to wear it XD

The Dressing Rooms Bridal kindly loaned us some gorge gowns to showcase the darker tones whilst Poppy wore all pre-owned items, found on Vinted (yep - even those Irregular Choice heels. 20 quid, still in the box!!)

The original theme had been black and white with this year’s Pantone colour of Mocha Mousse
so with the new location offering rooms with cosy Victorian elegance and a bright and airy ceremony space I adapted to the venue change with a more relaxed light and dark palette.

Kudos to Linda and Aimee for being patient, beautiful and such fun to photograph. Kudos to Kyle for bringing all the sass, sparkle, style and prettiness we could have ever needed, Lauren B and Lauren H for both being the BEST kind of drama queens and knocking me sideways with their gorgeousness.
